| Barcelona is well known for the architecture of Antoni Gaudi whose famous unfinished cathedral lies in the heart of the city. The city also hosts important art museums with works by to Picasso, Joan Miro and Antoni Tapies. Parc de la Ciutadella itself has a variety of attractions including the ornamental Cascada fountain, partially designed by Gaudi, and museums covering art, geology and zoology. Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar is a wonderful example of the Catalan Gothic style.
